چکیده
Abstract The influence of the reflected waves at bonding boundary on resonance waveform and temperature characteristics was investigated using α-quartz (QZ). double-layered resonator specimen fabricated 129.55°Y- 0°Y-cut QZ substrates with thickness ratio x=0.520. characteristic range from 100°C to 300°C deviated calculated values estimated by equations considering electric flux density proposed in previous work, resonant deteriorated as compared that single-layer resonators. In order clarify these phenomena, phase matching conditions total amplitude were examined. As a result, it clarified increase layer lower acoustic impedance affected characteristic, losses due reflection / transmission resonance.

Earthquake Waves Reflected at the Inside of the Core Boundary*
-Travel times of waves generated by an earthquake at a depth of 600 km and reflected from the inside of the core boundary as well as the epicentral distances of the caustics of PKKP, SKKP, and PKKS agree within the limits of error with those calculated on the basis of velocity-depth curves. This applies also to the travel times of SKKS and SKKKS for which poor agreement was reported before the ...
متن کاملDesign and Fabrication of a Quartz Crystal Resonator Used in a Thickness-Monitor Unit (TECHNICAL NOTES).
This paper deals with the design and fabrication of a quartz-crystal resonator used in a thickness-monitor unit, measuring film thickness in a film-depositing system. A purpose-grown quartz crystal is cut to form the desired wafer. Two gold electrodes are deposited on both surfaces of the wafer to provide electrical contacts. The resonance frequency of the resonator, at room temperature, and th...
متن کاملTHE EFFECT OF PURE SHEAR ON THE REFLECTION OF PLANE WAVES AT THE BOUNDARY OF AN ELASTIC HALF-SPACE
This paper is concerned with the effect of pure shear on the reflection from a plane boundary of infinitesimal plane waves propagating in a half-space of incompressible isotropic elastic material. For a special class of constitutive laws it is shown that an incident plane harmonic wave propagating in the considered plane gives rise to a surface wave in addition to a reflected wave (with angle o...
متن کاملEffect of Micropolarity on the Propagation of Shear Waves in a Piezoelectric Layered Structure
This paper studies the propagation of shear waves in a composite structure consisting of a piezoelectric layer perfectly bonded over a micropolar elastic half space. The general dispersion equations for the existence of shear waves are obtained analytically in the closed form. Some particular cases have been discussed and in one special case the relation obtained is in agreement with existing r...
متن کاملEstimation of Plunge Value in Single- or Multi-Layered Anisotropic Media Using Analysis of Fast Polarization Direction of Shear Waves
Estimation of the fast polarization direction of shear seismic waves that deviate from horizontal axis is a valuable approach to investigate the characteristics of the lower crust and uppermost mantle structures. The lattice preferred orientation of crystals, which is generally parallel to the downward or upward flow of the mantle or crust, is an important reason for the occurrence of fast axis...
